After Thoughts of my Vacation

I had a good 3 weeks of vacation in Hong Kong and Taipei. The mental break was much needed. It's nice to witness an old friend getting marry, and catch up with schoolmates that I haven't seen for 15 years. Made a few friends from England. =)

It's weird when I met up with old friends, we often talk about the past, not the present nor the future. Why is that? Is it because we are afraid to let others know we haven't achieved our goals? That we haven't accomplished much in our lives or simply because we don't think our lives is worthy for discussion? It's almost like the time we shared got frozen in time, and we continue the connection because we are on a different road. After the trip, I kept wondering how the gap can be bridged...
